This aluminum alloy Al-Cu-Mg series aluminum alloy, its main characteristicsand application scope: it is a high-strength hard aluminum, which can be strengthened by heat treatment. lt has medium plasticity in the quenched and quenchedstate, good spotwelding, and has the tendency to form inter granular cracks whengas welding. The alloy has good machin ability after quenching and cold workhardening, and low machin ability after annealing: low corrosion resistance, Anodizingand painting methods or addingaluminum coating on the surface are often used toimprove its corrosion resistance.
